Masterclass With Christopher Young
The online film scoring class Lasse Elkjaer co-produced in collaboration with NOW EAT MUSIC COMPANY [South Korea] has been launched! The video series features Golden Globe-nominated film composer Christopher Young (Hellraiser, Spiderman 3, Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities) and contains almost two and a half hours of material. Visions of Atlantis
Lasse Elkjaer has been contributing with parts of the orchestral arrangements for the song 'Collide' by the Austrian symphonic metal band Visions of Atlantis. The song can be found on their newest album PIRATES II - ARMADA. Congratulations to the band, storming the international charts with their album!

Halloween Feature Film
Lasse Elkjaer finished scoring the Danish featurefilm "Forsvundet til Halloween / The Seekers: Thrill Night" produced by COPENHAGEN BOMBAY and directed by Philip Thomas Pedersen. The movie will premiere in Danish theaters by the 7th of October.

ClassMojo - Big Ideas
Lasse Elkjaer started 2020 announcing that he'll be collaborating with ClassDojo, the world's most-widely used communication app for pre-K-8 schools, creating the soundtrack for the 12 episodes of their latest Big Ideas TV-series (Moods and Attitudes, Big Challenges, Respect, and Positive Thinking).
Class Dojo currently serves tens of millions of children in 95% of all K-8 schools in the US, and 180 countries.
In this new Big Ideas video series, the ClassDojo monsters Mojo & Katie explore a range of emotions and overcome challenges with positivity and emotional intelligence.

Drag Me To Hell "Suite"
Golden Globe-nominated film composer Christopher Young's, Drag Me To Hell "Suite" was performed by the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra, at its world premiere at Fimucité’s (2019) “My Favorite Fears” concert in Tenerife, Spain. Lasse Elkjaer had the great honor to be involved in this project, contributing with additional arrangements on this suite.

Fulbright Q&A
Lasse Elkjaer is taking part in a Q&A session following the screening of Sticks, selected for the Fulbright Association LA Film Festival. Here he talk about the steps and process of writing a gothic score for Sticks, from initial conversations to remote spotting sessions, and inviting a very special performer.

Los Angeles Film Conducting Intensive
Lasse Elkjaer will take part in the Los Angeles Film Conducting Intensive as Auditor at the Warner Brothers' Eastwood Scoring Stage. The program was founded by David L Newman together with Angel Velez, and this year will be led by Conrad Pope, Angel Velez and William Ross. A big thank you to The Danish Augustinus Fonden for supporting Lasse Elkjaer.

Nordic Noir LA
Nordic Noir LA concert at The Greek Theatre, with music by film composer Jacob Groth (The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo, Dead Man Down...). Elkjaer did orchestral arrangements, and conducted the gospel choir during the encore.

A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET - 8 CD BOX SET. The deluxe package contains all 8 soundtracks from the original "Nightmare On Elm Street" series, over 8 hours of music including almost 3 hours of bonus tracks! Elkjaer did additional suite arrangements on the Nightmare On Elm Street Suite "Suite Dreams," with music composed by Christopher Young.

Killing Season
Christopher Young's soundtrack for "Killing Season" was recently released on Intrada. It offers his exciting symphonic potrait for cello and orchestra as a fully-drawn classical work in four movements. A facinating project, which Elkjaer was involved in as an additional scoring assistant.
